Newsletter Pro v.2.0 is here- 6/24/2007
I have just released Newsletter Pro version 2.0. The price is the same but there are some major improvements.
In version 1.0 there were some complaints about the admin panel not showing up entirely after installation. That is no longer a problem in v.2.0.
There was also a problem with script owners not being able to view the archives pages when they were logged in and the archives were set to private. This was also fixed in the new version.
The new features in v.2.0 are as follows.
You can now set the archives to be only viewable by the admin and the subscribers. Subscribers just verify they are on the list by entering their subscribed email addresses to view the archives.
When sending out a newsletter you have to preview your email before sending. The preview shows you exactly what your email will look like in the archives pages. Every email provider is different so your HTML emails may look different in your readers inbox. For example CSS classes won't show up in Gmail.
Version 2.0 comes with a file that can transfer email addresses from one of your other MySQL databases to the CWT Newsletter Pro database.
